PEORIA - More than a thousand seniors are living without significant care in Peoria, and one local group is helping them out this holiday season.
The Neighborhood House is putting together Christmas gift packages for seniors in need.
They include socks, soap, manicure sets and flashlights.
Today, Bradley students were putting together the final packages, which will be distributed tomorrow morning.
Volunteers are still needed to help deliver the gifts to fourteen-hundred seniors throughout Peoria.
